About

CrossBridge is the next chapter in a long history of healthcare ventures to help improve outcomes and critical healthcare decisions.

CrossBridge is a healthcare technology company in its formative stages.  Working with leading clinicians and strategic partners, we are developing a platform to improve outcomes for people with rheumatology based autoimmune conditions.  Our goal is squarely aligned with the goal of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and all providers and payers who support this goal – to achieve better healthcare outcomes at a reduced per capita cost.

Bill Conlan

Bill Conlan has personal experience with autoimmune disease and being properly diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. He also has family members with rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. CrossBridge began as a result of Bill’s personal experience and seeing many others with autoimmune disease challenged to navigate the U.S. health system.

Bill is an entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in solving tough healthcare industry problems.  He is responsible for developing and commercializing the company’s CrossBridge technology, strategic planning and business management. Prior to CrossBridge, Bill co-founded HealthQx and built it into the leading value-based Payment (VBP) analytics company. HQX works with some of the most innovative health plans and health systems in the country helping them move from fee-for-service to value-based care. HealthQx was acquired by McKesson July 2016 and since become Change Healthcare.

Bill founded and was CEO of Healthcare Data Management (HDM), a pioneer in modeling employee health benefit plans and using data-driven metrics to monitor health plan spend. HDM also provided independent accountability of Medicare-sponsored health benefits programs. HDM was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2010 and is now part of IBM Watson.  Bill founded a medical billing business that serviced medical practices with electronic claims processing and patient billing.
